About Me

Who am I.  Just a guy who has struggled his entire life to stay in shape and keep that dreaded fat off my midsection and face. The image to the left really emphasizes where I want to be.  During 2006, I fought hard to lose a lot of weight and succeeded.  I went from approximately 200 pounds to at my lowest 155 pounds.  I felt good, looked good (in my opinion!), and I could run a 10-K in 45 minutes.  However, it didn’t last.

I shot back up again basically because I was not working out as much as I should and I was not paying as much attention to my food intake.

This roller-coaster weight gain I have been on for the past six or seven years has been difficult to deal with and it is time for it to stop. When I lived in Norway I saw my weight at the most stable it has ever been.  I rode to work everyday and it definately showed its results.  I am not satisfied though.  I know I can look better (I have done it) and I know that I can be proud to take my shirt off.

My goal is to be a lean and muscular guy, at around 150 – 160 pounds with about 10% body fat. I don’t want huge muscles, just a lean and fit body.

This blog is an extension of me and my journey through the weight loss game.  Specifically, I am guy who loves technology so I wanted to try to combine these two passions of mine – fitness /weight loss and digital technology.  I am going to explain in great detail how I use technology to get in shape.  I hope you get some benefit from it as well.  I look forward to your participation – if you have any comments please feel free to email me at info {@} digital-weight-loss.com.
