I&#039;ve been blogging for a little over a year and have kept up my running partly due to the motivation that this medium provides. It&#039;s difficult to NOT run and have to update your blog about the apparent failure. Of course, it sometimes has lead to some injuries since I abhor missing workouts (comes from my competitive swimming past I think). 

Anyway, just on the whole digital-workout tip, I really got hooked on running when I bought my Garmin Forerunner 305 a year ago. The metrics are awesome (how far, how fast, what pace, average heart rate, max this, max that, etc...) and really helps to track ones progress. (Just in case you are looking for something else to try somewhere down the road if the Nike+ thing gets boring I&#039;d recommend a GPS watch of some sort...)</description>
